Who is responsible

This site is run by Tadas Kirtiklis, a sole trader based in Norwich, United Kingdom, trading as Authentika. For anything on this page, write to hello@authentika.studio. A postal address is available on request. The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply.

No cookies and no analytics

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tags, and stores nothing in your browser. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask about. Typefaces and every photograph are served from this domain, so simply reading the site sends your details to nobody.

If you use the contact form

The name, email address, company and message you type are sent to me by email so that I can reply. Delivery is handled by Web3Forms, which processes the submission on servers outside the United Kingdom and does not keep a copy beyond delivering it. Nothing else is done with it: no newsletter, no marketing list, no sharing, no sale. Enquiry emails are kept while a job is live and for six years afterwards, which is how long UK tax records have to be available, then deleted.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering an enquiry that was sent to me. You can email instead of using the form if you would rather no third party touched the message.

Server logs

The web server records each request with the IP address, the page, the time and the browser user agent. That is ordinary security and fault-finding housekeeping, not analytics, it is not linked to anything else, and the logs are deleted automatically after about fourteen days.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to my using it, or ask for a copy. Email the address above and I will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Work shown here is published with the agreement of the client or subject. If you appear in an image and want it taken down, email me and it will come off the site.
